          The course is designed to help the student to learn how to become a complete event manager for industrice which include Banking, FMCG, Exhibitions, Hospitality, Automobiles, Tourism etc.

Course outline : The course is divided by into 4 semesters.

Semester 1 : Introduction to Events & Organisation - The Study of Entertainment Industry, categories of events, purpose / role of an event, role of an event manager, Event marketing, Govt. Regulation, structuring, budgeting and presentation of a program or on event. Students also undergo a range of communication and personality development sessions * Event Planning. Understanding a client's business, Developing a student to prepare a marketing (sponsorship) proposal, identifying the right segment, companies for sale, preparation of media plans, branding and customizing the event to suit a client / or sponsor and learning the skill of negotiation and convincing. Emphasis on presentation.
Semester 2 : Event Marketing Plans - Planning promotional strategies, advertising strategies (Press, Television, Outdoor and Internet), Design, print and production of promotional materials, categorizing sponsorship, financial planning and control and Effective implementation & Event Management - Venue Management, Backstage Management, Celebrity Management, guest management including VIP's dealing with suppliers, contractors and security agencies.
Semester 3 : Human Resource Management - Process of selection and appointment of administration and management personnel, allocation of job responsibilities and training programs * Management Strategies - In - depth study on corporate events, exhibitions, conference, private parties, weddings and seminars, focus on Time Management, Crisis management - Organising press conferences, developing relationship with media (press, satellite and outdoor), planning and execution of pre and post event publicity through various media..
Semester 4 : A 12-week period of internship which will give you an opportunity to participate, contribute and finally create and organize an event all by yourself.
Faculty : Event management professional, experienced consultants, advertising / PR Agency heads and marketing experts well experienced and exposed to event organizing & management..
Duration : One Year (Part Time).

Class rooms & practical training - 9 months

Compulsory Internship - 3 months
.
Timing : Evening only.

Eligibility : Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Science) Candidates appeared for final examimation can also apply. Persons with working experience will be given preference.
